You are invited to participate in the CITE Research Symposium (CITERS) on 30 June 2011 (Thursday), at the University of Hong Kong. This year’s CITERS focuses on building communities of teachers, students and researchers in the use of technology to enhance student learning, especially in higher education settings.
Participants are encouraged to propose presentations on a broad range of topics related to improving learning through e-learning. Research outcomes into e-learning designs, exploring principles, tools, policies and learning environments that contribute to engagement of the learner are also encouraged.
The conference has four sub-themes
- Social networking and student voices —
using Facebook and other social networks to enhance student learning - Changing physical and virtual spaces —
new demands for classrooms, learning commons and teaching and learning environments - Designs for e-Learning —
new educational designs, new curriculum, new affordances and multiple literacies - Cloud computing —
growth and integration of internet applications and their impact on learner managements systems
